The inaugural Gondwana World Choral Festival will feature choirs from Europe, the USA and Canada.
Choirs now confirmed are the Sydney Children’s Choir, La Cigale de Lyon (Anne-Marie Cabut), Gondwana Voices, Estonian TV Girls’ Choir (Aarne Saluveer), Gondwana Indigenous Children’s Choir, Riga Cathedral Girls’ Choir (Aira Birzina), Boston Children’s Chorus (Anthony Trecek-King) and the Toronto Children’s Chorus (Elise Bradley).
The Festival celebrates the 30th anniversary of Gondwana Choirs, which began with the Sydney Children’s Choir founded by Lyn Williams OAM in 1989.
The world’s finest choirs of young people will travel to Sydney for a week of concerts, recitals, workshops, masterclasses and panel discussions.
With gala concerts in the Concert Hall of the Sydney Opera House, and a Festival Centre at the beautiful Sydney Conservatorium of Music, this will be an international choral event to remember.
