Sydney Conservatorium of Music
With its excellent performance and rehearsal facilities and idyllic location adjoining the Royal Botanic Gardens, the Sydney Conservatorium of Music is the perfect home for the myriad of daily festival activities.
The Conservatorium will be the central hub for a series of concerts, pop-up performances, lunchtime recitals, workshops and forums. Eminent choral conductors, musicians, and composers will all gather to join the local and international choirs to take part in the festival events hosted at “The Con”.
Its superb facilities include five performance venues of outstanding acoustic and architectural quality. The largest of the performance spaces is the majestic Verbrugghen Hall which seats nearly 500 and is home to the glorious Pogson Pipe Organ. The other spaces include the Music Workshop, a truly flexible venue with a range of configuration options, and the Recital Halls East & West which will host festival workshops and masterclasses.
