Do you want to hear the world’s finest children’s choirs in concert, and make new friends and connections at the same time? Are you searching for accredited professional development opportunities? Then this is your chance to hear, watch, learn and participate, with the best in children’s choral music from around the world.
Delegates will have access to a full program of events including:

Concerts – Take your premium seat at the festival Opening and Closing Galas in the world famous iconic Sydney Opera House, plus four concerts daily at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, featuring choirs from Australia and around the globe.

Discovery Series – Experience the indigenous rhythms and songs of Australia’s Torres Strait Islands and Indonesia’s Aceh province; expose yourself to the visceral power of Japanese Taiko drumming; immerse yourself in a cappella singing of the highest calibre; and explore the music and culture of Aboriginal Australia.

Choral Skills – Hone your skills and take home a swag of new warms-ups, better understanding of singing technique for young choristers, and tricks for improving sight-singing skills.

Life Cycle of a Developing Chorister – Trace the journey of a chorister from as young as six through the Sydney Children’s Choir’s world-revered training program – discover age-appropriate skills and repertoire to take home to your own children’s choir.

In the Studio – Venture behind the studio doors to experience a rehearsal with each of the International Guest Choirs, and many of the best Australia has to offer. Learn the secrets of effective rehearsal technique, and how to create the best, most productive atmosphere for choral rehearsals.
